This program is designed to prepare the graduate for the expanding tasks of the 21st
century doctor. Doctors of tomorrow need to be lifelong self-learners, prepared for their role in health
care education and prevention beside management of the diseased, aware of the integrated high-tech health
care systems that are developing over the region, ready to work within modern health care teams, ready to
engage in post-graduate studies and research, and acquire a role model for a professional attitude.
We are proud to introduce the “Extended Modular Program” as a result of the sustained hard effort of the medical education development team over the past 9 years. This program aims to prepare the graduates to the expected tasks and challenges they will face, and to meet their future role as leaders in their field. The “Extended Modular Program” adopts modern educational strategies well-tailored to suit your needs, uses interactive teaching and learning methods, and provides courses that extend beyond the classical medical curricula.
The Extended Modular Program aspires to lead the advancement of medical education not only in Ain Shams Faculty of Medicine but also in the whole region, through adopting a holistic vision for the graduate's attributes which are necessary to respond to the medical practices' challenges of the present and the future. We envision this holistic educational approach as a qualifier for being recognized among the highest ranked programs.
